Support Team Role Application

We’re a dedicated group of people from Vancouver, British Columbia, working to provide great services for travel agents and agencies. We’re looking for someone special to join our head office Support Team who can be both an integral part of our business and be a fun addition to a really great workplace.

We’re a growing company with travel agency locations in Western Canada and all business being channeled through our head office. Our Support Team of eight superheroes keep everything ticking along smoothly for our 60+ travel professionals and thousands of clients.

As a travel company, the opportunity to learn the product first hand by travelling is part of the role. Opportunities come up to attend conferences in different and exciting destinations. Special educational (familiarization) trips are also available at little or no cost and come up constantly.

Much of the knowledge cross-over between marketing and travel product is obtained through close collaboration with the Product and Support Managers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintaining social media channels
  • Coordinating media releases
  • Developing email marketing campaigns
  • Supporting company-wide brand consistency efforts including contributing to branded item purchases
  • Managing website content
  • Developing graphic design pieces for marketing projects
  • Assisting travel agents, agency managers and franchise partners with regional marketing efforts
  • Provide input with other team members with business initiatives

If you have this, let’s talk

  • Excellent editing skills, particularly in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • At least 1 year of marketing experience with a focus on social media and content creation
  • Advertising fundamentals and basic digital marketing skills
  • Strong copy writing ability
  • Love of the travel industry
  • A sense of humour and overall awesomeness!
