The Finance and Admin Assistant is part of our small but super awesome finance team. The role is responsible for the maintenance of financial records, the processing of income and expenditure, purchase of goods and services and the undertaking of a range of financial and administrative tasks.

Duties and responsibilities of the Finance Assistant position with the Employer include, but are not limited to the following:

· Invoice processing and data entry

· EFT posting;

· Administer payment of bills and invoices;

· Prepare invoices for clients;

· Coordinate bank deposits;

· Mailing and postal duties;

· General office administration

· Provide customer service to our clients

· Front desk operations. Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required

· Other duties as directed.

The successful candidate will have the following characteristics –

· A background in accounting/finance

· Work well with computers and technology

· Experience using accounting systems

· A quick learner and willing to help wherever needed.

· Previous travel agency experience working with Trams and BSP reconciliations (not required but a bonus)

· Willingness to help wherever needed

· Overall awesomeness

This is a unique opportunity for the right individual. The position we are looking to fill is a full-time salaried plus commission position. The successful candidate would work part-time in our office in the highly sought-after Mission District and would work part-time from home, or wherever in the world they happen to be. They would be eligible for their share of all incoming new business (calls, walk-ins and website inquiries). This person will earn a salary plus a generouscommission split to make their financial dreams a reality.
